Sculptural Text: The Letter X

Still experimenting with text as a sculptural form I used the Letter X and allowed it to create its own spiral shape with a rhythmic placing of the individual parts in an offset stack. Although intrinsically this is a spiral in the same manner as the Letter C column, the Letter X appears to turn the spiral inside out and forming a type of helix.
