The Letter C is a wonderful form - not quite circular but with the inherent qualities that a circle can offer. I found myself "doodling" with a pile of small wooden letter C's and was delighted to find that stacking them and offsetting at the same time produced a mini sculpture in the form of a spiral. This set me off on a mission to produce larger letter C on the laser cutter and pile them up so that the spiral forms organically. The result was a 300mm curving tower of wood with soft undulations formed by the shape of the letter itself.
